Ducklings throw-up

I was just picking up my ducklings to bring them outside for a few when i picked one of them up and a sort of slimey mewcus (sp?) came out of its mouth. I thought it might have just been some water still on its bill or something so i brought him out anyway. Well when i picked him out to come back in a little later, he thew up more mewcis/slime. He seems to be acting perfectly normal. Anyone have any idea what this is?

When you are picking them up, are you pressing against their crop by any chance? It could be that you squished out some food and goo from it.

Hmm. Not too sure. They havent done it since, so maybe that was it. Thanks for the help.
