Ducklings unleashed

My khaki campbell ducklings are around 5-6 weeks now. It's SOOO hot in the barn I decided to free them from the brooder and allow them to wander about with the chickens. I've got water sporadically placed with a bit stock tank for them to swim in. I've food beside every container. The chickens are enjoying it and the ducks are staying in their little flock of 4 near the chickens. So far no one is bothering anyone so I'm happy and hopeful this will work out. My chickens are around 10 weeks. The worse part of the whole thing is the ducks are exactly the same color as the ground. If they aren't moving I can't see them. Freaks me out when I go in there and the ducklings are missing.

I have fans running on high in my coops, and no one is even in there right now, well there are broodies in one of them. It's very hot. I'm glad your ducks are enjoying their free time, when you get a chance how about some pics. get some colored tie wraps and put them on your ducklings legs, loose enough that they won't cut into their skin that way maybe you'll be able to see them better. [just keep an eye on them because they can get tight quick when the ducklings are growing so fast.]
