Can you post a pic of him standing?
Are you familiar with Indian Runners? It might just be the difference in breeds.
It could also be a niacin deficiency since he is a duckling and it sounds like he's having leg issues.

Yes I can here in a bit. I’m very familiar with Indian Runner ducks, they are the breed I know most about and are what I mainly breed.

It’s called DPA or something like that! No I’m not giving them Niacin support. Do they need it?

It would be beneficial to add nutritional yeast or vitamin b complex to their diet especially for ducklings.
