I have two ducklings. They are a few days old and they won’t stop chirping the second I stop holding them. Is there anything I could do to make them stop chirping. Also can they eat chick starter? Because they are not eating any of it.

With chick starter you will need to give them a niacin supplement such as Brewers Yeast. I think it was a tablespoon per cup of food but hopefully someone can give you more accurate advice.

They have more than likely imprinted on you, so they think you are their mother who they would be with always until they are more independent. Maybe see if they will cuddle with a soft toy under the heat lamp.

Have you measured the temperature under the heat lamp?

From here the heat lamp looks too low. The brooder should be around 85* you might try a box I put a small box in the brooder with my ducklings they would get into and sleep. Def put a soft stuffed animal in there with them. What type of heat bulb are you using? Red bulbs have a calming effect where white light doesn’t allow for that. Chick starter is okay to feed but like @JaeG said you’ll need to supplement niacin I suggest nutritional yeast over brewers yeast there’s more niacin in it. This isn’t bakers yeast. Just to make sure you know.
