I got 2 ducklings today and they attached themselves to my 7 year old daughter almost immediately. I'm talking they follow her down the hall, up the hall, into the bathroom, EVERYWHERE. It's now time for bed, and they won't quit crying! Are they crying for her? Does she have to sleep next to them? They're in a save environment with food, water, and a brooder, and the lights are off in the room. Help me make them shoosh and go to sleep!!! :love

They will quieten down eventually and I usually just put headphones on and try to ignore them sorry I can't be more helpful

They will get used to sleeping alone. I know it’s sad to hear them cry but since they can’t safely sleep on the bed I think it’s the only option for them to learn to sleep alone.

It’s adorable how attached to your daughter they are🥰
