ok i will do that thank youYou will have to make some kind of incubator. She already knows her ducklings hatched and she is going to leave the nest very soon
Well Katharina Duck must be a very patient Momma Duck then: Last August her first duckling hatched on Sunday early morning and the last one on Wednesday. All seven, three boys and four girls, made it to adulthood. Most mothers will leave the nest somewhere around 36 hours after the first duckling hatches. Do you have an incubator or can you remove the ducklings and then return them once the last one hatches ?
im hoping this for my mama duck like the runners it is also unusaual for pekins so fingers crossedWell Katharina Duck must be a very patient Momma Duck then: Last August her first duckling hatched on Sunday early morning and the last one on Wednesday. But then it is already unusual for an Indian Runner to go broody…
