Wow!!!! Well the ducks just keep on coming!!! Right now in the brooder I have 9, one just hatched in the incubator and I have at least two more pips.(Keep looking in there with the flashlight,lol). Nancy from Calebs Acres has some VERY fertile eggs. Most of the ones I bought from her last time hatched and these look to be doing the same. They are Indian Runners, most are khaki colored, but in this bunch there is also a black, two yellow, and the last one that just hatched is dark with a lighter colored bib. These are my "keepers" the last hatch was for my aunt and she got 17 babies from me. My daughter is absolutely ecstatic about them, especially the little black duck. The only one WE kept out of the last hatch was a black runt. So now she had "Ferdie" and "Freddie", names are going to stay the same no matter if they are drakes or hens.
