They are pretty sure the sole purpose of any digging project is to help them get worms. They quack up a storm whenever they see my husband with shovel

Such pretty ducks -- and very cute! Excellent helpers, too, I'm sure.
My chickens seem to think that any loose dirt is a place to dust bathe... especially if it's in the nice sunny garden patch.

That's adorable, Beaglegal. During the warmer months, if anyone asks me if my ducks can do any tricks, I say that they can play "Construction Crew". I go out to the yard with a shovel and all eight of them gather round in a group while I dig a hole. So many supervisors....
