Ducks and Chickens in Coop?

Hello All,

I have been reading many conflicting reports on whether to keep ducks and chickens together in the same coop? I am getting 10 birds in total (5 chickens and 5 ducks). I would love advice for this. We have a good size coop and a large run. So I am not sure what to do. Thanks!

That's because it works for some keepers and doesn't work for others.
You've probably also read the pros and cons?
Mostly different housing needs and mating physiology...oh and duck water.
You'll have to decide what will work for you.

How big is 'good sized' in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics are always helpful.

I kept ducks and chickens in the same coop and run, it was ok. I didn’t love it. Ducks are pretty messy, and I never did figure out a satisfactory waterer for both but they all got along.
