I was at the pet store today picking up some feeder fish for the ducks, and the employee helping me asked me what they were for. After we both drooled over
cute duck pictures on my phone, he suggested crayfish as a snack. I checked that awesome list of food in the stickies, and crayfish wasn't listed.

Has anyone fed their ducks crayfish? Or know of any reason not to?

The internet world showed me videos of ducks eating them, but that doesn't mean that it is ok. So I'm consulting you, magnificent duck people.

I personally would not give them live crayfish. They may be little but those things pack quite a punch with their claws.

That's what I was afraid of. There's a little creek that I walk by and often think about taking the ducks to. It is really shallow and I've noticed some crayfish in it, so maybe I won't take 'em there. Thanks!
