Hi Friends,

had to do some decluttering in our cold pantry today and the Duckies were curiously watching their humon servant through the window.
Our cold pantry is mostly underground and the only window allows the ducks to look their humons straight into the eyes, making them look much less scary.
Anyways, i had half a bowl of fodder left and thought it would make the Duckies very happy and i could produce a unique video… Have fun watching!

Nice, I've got a pan of fodder I need to put out today too!

That is super cute. I love your flock! Are the white ones pekins or white layers?
White Layers! - The first one to approach is Bazilla Duck (black legband), then Earthquack (green), Blanca (red) and Alba (yellow band). And the screechy with the crest on her head is PomPom Duck.

Thanks. I love my pekins and their personalities, but they've all had issues health-wise.
I never had Pekin ducks, but i heard a lot about their hilarious and cute behaviors, as well as their problems with legs and hips due to the fact that they are a meat-breed. It seems there is some Peking in those White Layers and they have inherited the Pekin's huge appetite, but they convert all their food into yummy eggs instead of becoming overweight. I can only recommend this breed if you want a good layer and a funny pet.
