Ducks and Garlic?

I have read that it isn't great to give ducks garlic but what about a little garlic powder or fresh chopped garlic in their food once a week?

Flavoring eggs is not a concern of mine.

Would just like to know if it would be safe

they share their food with the chickens and I would really like to give them garlic for the health benefits.

I know at least one person who adds some garlic to their feed for the health benefits. I have also read it isn't good for ducks.

There are some parameters, I think, with some of those things, but I don't know what they might be.

Zwei once ate a little volunteer garlic bulb out of the garden. I wanted to tell myself she hadn't really eaten it, but she had garlic on her breath

No harm came to her.

Thanks! that's what I'm wondering, if anyone else gives their ducks garlic and if a little bit like once a week or once every two weeks will hurt them? Hmm.... Maybe I will just split up the fermented feed and only add garlic to one of the dishes in hopes that they will know they shouldn't eat from the garlic dish

they are pretty picky anyway.

i give my ducks leftover vegan pasta every so often and i put quite a bit of garlic in it and they have never been sick from it or anything

In the past I have tossed a few cloves into my FF. now I'm sticking to dry feed, but just last night I chopped up 8-10 cloves and I just randomly tossed some into the scrap bowl. My ducks love garlic. Idk. I can't recall the last time I did this... So not often. I just did a google search, it brought me here to BYC...
