I was spending some time out in the rain with my birds thought I would throw a pic out and show everyone how were doing on this cold rainy day here in washington shes a little out numberd if anyone has rouen hens like 2 of them it would really help me out alot

such cute ducks! i'm stuck in the same situation, 3 pekin drakes and one hen. poor little girl. they don't go anywhere without her, its rather cute, but they are fighting like crazy! i'm hoping to get more girls to even the playing field.

and yes, ducks are great. no doubt about it!

you only need 1 drake per 3 hens

That is the best ratio. Since my khaki hen died, I am at 1 drake to 2 hens. Not terrible, but 3 to 1 is much better.
