Ducks ate a small white mushroom

Hi! As I was watching my ducks I noticed one of them ate a small white mushroom in my yard. I immediately put them back in their pen and smashed the rest of the mushrooms. Do any of you know if these are poisonous? If they are, what should I do? Thanks!

UPDATE: after some research, I’ve found out that they aren’t poisonous! Thank you everyone!

Could you post a picture of the mushroom? Or find a picture online that's similar, if we identify that it's poisonous, all of the ducks should be started on an activated charcoal flush immediately.

You probably should post a photo of the mushroom in question. There is alot of different mushroom species so kinda hard to identify a mushroom by just saying small and white. Also smashing the rest just made your mushroom problem worse since now you have released the spores for them to spread and grow more.

I use google images on my phone, it will identify for you if it's a poisonous one or not hopefully.

You could also try a plant identifier app on Google store to help identify too. I know mushrooms arent plants but might work.

So, I think your ducks will be fine, but if you notice them acting off at all, report back here or take them to your avian vet if you can.

With all the rain we have been receiving around here every other day it seems. We have mushrooms of all different colors and shapes popping up everywhere and I worry about that same thing. Good Luck and I hope your little one will be fine.
