Ducks bill isnt looking good

I noticed a while ago that my pekin drake had some flaking on his bill, which I thought was sunburn. But it's getting SO much worse. Cam anyone point me in the right direction of what's going on?
I'm hoping its nothing too serious. He has access to water, which he can completely submerge his head. And he eats 16% layer pellets, mixed with regular layer and meal worms

It's normal for a ducks bill to shed and peel. I've never heard of a ducks bill being Sun burned.
As long as he has water deep enough to dunk his head in I believe he is fine, nothing to worry about.

I didnt know they could get sunburnt either but they can! Which is crazy lol but his bill looks much better today, so I'm guessing it was some extreme shedding lol
