Ducks breeding

I was out by the pen today and a couple of ducks were breeding. Does this mean that I will see eggs soon. They are about 4 months old mallards. This is the first time for ducks for me. Thanks for any help.

Anybody got a answer for me on them laying. I want to no if I should start feeding layer food?????

You can start feeding layer. Most ducks don't start laying til 6-8 months. Just because you see ducks breeding doesn't mean you will have eggs. Once they do start laying eggs and they are doing that then they will be fertile
