1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I got chickens about 10 years ago
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
As with most people, I got bit by chicken math. I started out with 5 hens and a rooster and currently have 100 goats and over 100 various types of poultry
(3) What breeds do you have?
50 ranger/ranger-type meat birds, 25 assorted roos for meat, a couple Toulouse goslings, rouen ducks, too many breeds of layers to remember
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
eggs, watching them forage, tasty meat
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
goats, gardening
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
goat farmer by hobby, hopefully eventually full time, machinist by training
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
found on google, unsure for how long, at least several years, I'm having issues with my meat birds and need help.
