ducks can have stokes right?

Overmating could be the problem, sure. How many drakes and ducks do you have?

(I am still waiting to see if any of my eleven girls are guys . . . . so far most, at 5 weeks, are quacking. A few are still mostly peeping, but they are slower to develop than the rest in other ways, too.)

will there are a few pairs out there , so maybe 3 drakes , and 6 ducks, the appleyard drake is very loving of the females

How big are the saxonies? Any chance he could get a bigger girl or three? Or, just separate him from the rest, and reduce the time he has with them.
