I can't get these feather brained birds to eat anything other than grass. That can't be too good for them!
Seller had her ducks on fermented feed. I don't have interest in doing that right now. I have pellets and that's that for the time being. I understand that they may think differently, but surely at some point they'll be hungry enough to get over it?
I did try making both a mash and a soup out of the pellets. None of that was eaten.
I've tried ground sprinkling.
I've tried sprinkling in big tub or water pan. Nope.

Ducks won't get in big tub at all. They drink happily from water pan until they grass muck it too much. Change water, watch them eat grass and gulp water like rhinos, repeat. Still no action in pellet dish.

They are still pretty terrified of us too. Waiting for the Mister to say "I told you we should have waited to add ducks."
Is there anything I can do?

Take their favorite water pan and put a soupy mix of feed and water in it

Mix the feed so its soupy! They get a taste for it, hopefully

I suppose that's important, eh?
They're all yearlings. I didn't think to get an exact.
We lost one to a fox, but all three ladies had been laying. The remaining two ladies haven't laid since, but I expected as much being moved from their home to a new one and then surviving an experience like a fox.

There's oyster shell provided. They don't eat that either.

I haven't seen more than one half wimped attempt by the drake to mate.
