Ducks Drowning Eachother?

I bought five ducklings straight run and could've swore I ended up with two males because the Buff male and the smaller of the two khaki campbells would mount the others. So I was just waiting for the day the khaki would get curled tail feathers like the Buff. Nope! She started laying eggs instead. Finally hit me that it must just be a dominance issue among the females. All my previous experience has been with chickens and I've never seen a hen mount anyone. Apparently that is a thing with ducks though. Haha I've even seen the ducks allowing roosters to mount them! Hussies!

Females will mount each other just as a male and female will. My girls do this with every pool change as well. It's completely normal and sort of deciding the daily pecking order.

Never heard of females drowning another female but multiple drakes on top of a female can drown her.
