Ducks eating rat poop??

I was putting my ducks to bed so sorry for the delay and I really haven't read all on this post. This is a picture of my egg-bound duck Eva. This is the way they usually stand. Is she doing this? They usually take baby steps to walk and often just lay down sometimes with their wings out.

I'll check back in the morning but the calcium gluconate 1ml orally should do the trick if this is the problem.

No she isn’t walking like that posture. Earlier she was taking baby steps and sort of just standing and throughout the day I’ve been checking up on her. I just went and sat with her again to observe her and *knock on wood* she is acting like nothing happened. I am still going to go and get that and feed it to her just in case because it can’t hurt. Thank you very much.

LATEST UPDATE: Daphne seems to be doing better than she was earlier. Normally I take them out (Daphne and Dolores, my ducks) and let them run around but today I kept them in so they can rest, mostly just Daphne but they are a pair and Dolores wanted to make sure her sister was doing well by staying by her side all day and laying with her.

I just went and cleaned out their pen yet again and she was very vocal and active!! She seemed to be doing better so I let them out for a little bit to see if she would splash in the mud like usual and she did! I can tell she isn’t 100% but it’s definitely better than earlier when she wouldn’t even quack and didn’t want to walk.

I added a little apple cider vinegar to their water, and fed them and wanted to see if she’d eat and she came over and ate right out of my hand. I also waited a while until Daphne pooped so I could see if it looked normal and it looks like her normal poop.

tomorrow I am making a trip to get the calcium stuff from tractor supply and I will begin feeding her that, not entirely sure she’s egg bound or what but trying can’t hurt.

I want to thank everyone so much who has helped me, I was definitely in a panicked because I treat my ducks like my own kids, I literally call them my daughters so when one isn’t feeling well I instantly start to worry. I will update again in the morning! I’m praying she’s okay and I am able to wake up and hear her little quack to the full effect.

One of my ducks had me worried a few weeks back. She was just not herself that morning. I kept a close eye on her and she was back to normal by that evening and she's been OK since. I just keep a close eye on her and my others. They hide things so well. Prayerfully she's OK. As you usually do, I would continue to keep a close eye on her. I only have food out whenever my ducks are awake and eating. I have evem found a fox in my ducks run (it's a small uncovered area with a child gate attached to their house only used for them to have one last bit of dinner and sip of water before bed and in the morning while I walk each one up individually)one night before I walked them down to their house, eating their duck food!!! Also, is there any way you could give their food and house a quick check over for rat droppings before allowing them in? Possibly keep their food sealed up unless they're eating? My little Maltese was eating the duck food and getting sick from it so I fixed a way to tightly cover the duck food and nothing is able to get in the food. I have to leave it out during the day but it is out in the open so rats will attempt it during the day if they're desperate.

I hope that’s my girls case too! And yes I keep their stored food tightly sealed (I have a lot of predators including raccoons which are insanely smart) but I feed them morning and night and throw out any uneaten food away before bed to try and avoid rats at nighttime.

I did check their coop and house for rat droppings and didn’t find anymore but I cleaned out all the shavings in their house and put fresh ones in (I try to do this every other day).

and their pen is an old dog run with a concrete slab (I have artificial grass on top because I know concrete is no bueno but it’s good because it stops predators from digging under) , overall it’s a very secure pen with a roof attatched. I let them out for hours a day to free range but only when I am outside with them because unfortunately we have a ton of hawks and coyotes and the coyotes just had pups so I have to be extra cautious.
