It might help if people knew what kind of incubator you were using. That way people with the same kind can give you specific information rather than general info which may or may not work in your machine.
I use a veriety of different things to increase humidity. It it the surface area of the water rather than the actual quantity that will increase humidity. A sponge, puppy training pad of face washer soaked in water can help increase humidity- but all would have to be changed over every two days to stop bacteria growing.
