Ducks fighting for no reason?

hello all! I have two female Pekin ducks whom I love, however recently they have decided it would be just the best idea to attack each other whenever they get the chance. it isn't like one is bullying the other, they're both going after each other. like 2 siblings that are fighting over something completely stupid. Any Ideas as to why this could be? thanks!

How old are they? If they are just becoming sexually mature, this may be the cause of the behavior.

the ducks are around 2. they would've already reached sexual maturity right?

This time of year my ducks normally bicker and try to re-establish who is the top duck. Some females can be really bad this time of the year. Even my sweetest girls can become rather mean to other girls. It usually works it self out by the time they start laying again. I have a much bigger flock, so usually those girls just hang out with someone else during that time.
