Everyone raves about how thier ducks love grass clippings and dandelion greens. Mine can care less if they existed. Are they weird , or do they get thier fill on my REAL pond loaded with duckweed and all the fixings?

There is no one treat that every domestic duck likes, from anything I have read here.

Mine, like many, love peas. But they dislike anything red. Many ducks like red berries, watermelon. Nope. Not mine. And a bunch of people have ducks that dislike peas.

Glad they have yummy duck weed!

Mine like dandelion leaves, not grass so much. But everything tastes better when it's in the water.

Tomatoes are the best in my ducks opinions. If they see them in a bag they go crazy.

Romain lettuce! Costco sells it 6 heads to a bag we go through two bags in a little over a week with our 11 ducks. It is a food and a toy. We hold out individual leaves firmly and they LOVE ripping off pieces. It took them a while to figure out that a quick head twist will break off the thick parts. If we hold out the whole head, they will just tear it up, then eat about half of it afterword then get bored. Sometimes we present the whole head until it is a quarter gone and then let them tear individual leaves for the rest of the head. When there is only the heart left (if it is way too big to swallow), we toss it to them and they play "ducky football" where one runs around the yard with the rest chasing them until they fumble it and another duck gets it and they then chase the next duck. This goes on for 5 to 15 minutes then we throw the heart out so it doesn't get nasty.
