Ducks for algae control?

We have about an acre sized pond that is overgrown with weeds and gets a lot of algae when it's hot. I was wondering if there was a certain breed of duck that would help in "cleaning" up the pond? I would prefer kid friendly ducks, they would be treated as pets

I do not know how good the ducks will do, but I can tell you how good the grass carp does----Awesome!
