Ducks going inside early?

I wish mine went in by themselves, they go to bed at 9:30 and get let out at 4:30 am. So you only feed them twice a day?

Limited quantity in the am, more at “night”.

I’m an early riser too I thought 6.30 for me.

If you're feeding them inside the coop they are probably going in early waiting to be fed.

12 ducks: a.m feeding is 2 cups Mazuri waterfowl, 1 lb peas, about 1.5 cups dried mealworms.

p.m. feeding: 3-4 cups Mazuri, 2 lbs. peas, 2 cups mealworms, 1 cup oyster shell ( in 2 separate bowls).

I put out 2 buckets of food in the run when I let them out in the morning. It stays out all day with them so they have access to it all day long. At night when I lock them up the food gets locked up too so critters can't get at it. They have no food or water all night in their pen and are just fine.
