DUCKS HATCHED BY HEATING PAD

We lost our mama duck this am. Can you use a heating pad to hatch the eggs? If yes, what about the oil needed on the wings the mother puts on them?

mother dont put oil on the ducklings wings, they have their own oil gland. I suggest reading the home made incubator threads if you want to try and incubate the eggs as just laying them on a heating pad wont be the best solution. You can find ceap incubators at Tractors supply this time of theyear too.
