Ducks hatching eggs.

Ok so my peckin duck just started laying eggs and what i'm wondering is there a certain time of the year/season I should let her set? will you she do it anytime of the year? I heard they wont do it unless it's in the spring..

no usually they can be clucky anytime of year and try not to go near her when she is clucky as it may put her off

should I put her and her mate together when im ready for her to sit? I have a bunch of ducks that all sleep together but I feel like they will bug her.

well yes and no because sometimes the drake will peck her feathers out or harm the eggs so I recommend putting him in there for a week or so and seeing how he goes if all goes well than leave him there but if not take him out.
