Ducks have been flying far!

Hi everyone! I have 2 khaki Campbells about 3 months old. I keep them in the pen most of the time (because I live in a neighborhood) and let them out to roam around my yard about twice a day. The past few days, they’ve been flying about 200 yards from my house, and when they land they always come running back to their coop. Should I cut their feathers or trust them to come back? Anyone else have experience with this? Thanks!

Since you live in a neighborhood and many people have dogs I believe for their safety I’d clip their wings.
