My youngest son is developmentally disabled (PDD-NOS). He was REALLY fascinated by the ducks hatching. We caught him trying to put eating eggs from the refrigerator in the incubator after we hatched out a buff/khaki mutt so he could make more

i am really excited about it. most of my students have never even seen a duck let alone get to hatch ducklings. I am just really scared that I might mess things up and then how do i explain to my kiddos that there will be no baby ducks after waiting a whole month for them to hatch...

update: the top hatch incubator is still very quiet...but it is keeping the temperature constant around 99-100...which is right? I think it is...anyways I guess it must be doing ok. im gonna put water in it later this afternoon and see how the humidity works. I should be getting the eggs soon...a week at the latest i hope.

I am looking for a duck embryology chart. I would like to make a count down to hatch for my students so they can see what is going on inside the egg each day. Does anyone know where I would find that I can print from online? All I can find is chicken...and those only go to day 21 so thats not gonna work...anyone have an idea?
