i usually scald chickens at 140-150 to pluck, when I did Muscovy's I had to raise it to 160-170 to get them to pluck right.

I really wish the folks here at BYC would start a "view at your own risk/don't come crying to us" section for stuff that may be a little questionable tho, like the pic. something where it's not "naughty" but perhaps pg13 nr17 nothing x rated.
Can I ask what actually happened that was so graphic? I have seen pheasants, duck and geese, done with the same plucker. Only thing special was to wet the bird in normal tap water (for traction) that was it. :/
