Try also area threads like "where am i, where are you" search for closest, and ask who knows who would want/want more ducks. they should be fine thiugh with just large cheap doghouse with hay straw shavings or chips to replace when gets nasty, that can close up at night to keep preds out and heat in (with vent to let air flow and too much heat out), as heat from them inside will keep water from freezing (friebds and rescue groups who had mallards and canada geese, when lived in upper WI said they are smart enough to keep water from freezing also by going to constantly to knock holes in thin ice as starts even when not drinking just to keep open).
