ducks in the pool

So, finished setting up the pool. Yesterday put the ducklings in there to clean up worms and bugs...
Today I get up to this. I love having involved teens

Awww they're adorable! My ducks would probably do that, but they aren't allowed to roam due to the dogs down the road. Not to mention bears, hawks, and they're also mallards so.

Throw in some floaties. Sometimes they drown. And floaties help out when they get in trouble.

The are normally in the chicken run, the teens got home from school and decided to go check on the chirpies, and seeing the pool nearly full decided it was swim time. I made sure the ladder was up and they had a scoop net handy. I don't plan on normally letting them in the pool, I have an aversion to duck poop where I'm swimming.
