My Khaki campbell came into lay a week ago! Great! but then, after a week they have stopped, a few days after they stopped it snow. Could this be a reason? But it has taken them along time to start laying AND NOW THEY HAVE STOPPED i am a bit bummed. Any suggestions.

They will lay again soon. Snow can effect egg laying. Not so much because of the cold, but because the clouds block so much sunlight. You could give them some extra light at night after sunset if you are really impatient. Just a couple of extra hours of artificial light will start them laying again if the weather isn't cooperating.

Also ducks that just started laying don't always lay regularly immediately. egg laying can be stressful to their body and requires a lot of protein and calcium. If they aren't getting the correct nutrients in their feed and the right quantities, they may take breaks from laying more often.
