Hey y'all!
I have 8 ducks: 4 Swedish Blue ( one has been blind from birth but it never seems to bother her..she just listens for where the flock is and follows), 1 runner and three Welsh Harlequin. They've been living in a converted run in shed for a couple of years but we are moving them to a bigger house and pen. My question is: any thoughts on how to get them to transition to their new home?
The old and new pens are next to each other and I am currently letting them have access to both.
The new house requires going up a small ramp, which they aren't use to yet.
We don't really handle them so they aren't used to being picked up. should I "herd" them into the new home? I hate to scare them!
Thank you!

I herd my birds a lot you just walk calmly and slowly behind using your arms or a long pole as an extension. They catch on quick just have the old place closed up so they don’t go in the wrong house. Once they get inside a reward of mealworms or peas would reinforce it.
