Ducks moving into feed and cherping for treats!

!!!UPDATE!!!
It seems to me that they don't wanna touch the feed once again, I'm not sure why. I've given them the feed with water just yesterday like the day before and they just nibbled on it for a bit and went to scavenge in the dirt. aHhh, am I doing anything wrong? Is it just I'm too impatient?

It’s pretty rare that our flock all chow down immediately upon being given food. They’re more like cats than dogs in that sense. I could give our cats a tin of sardines, and they’d walk off seemingly disinterested. I could hand feed my dog practically anything and he’d try it first, decide if he likes it later.

Mine love to forage so that is what they do first then after they have made sure nothing has invaded their territory then they come and eat then off again looking for intruders[ bugs] Just keep the feed out for then making sure it isn't sitting in the hot sun so it won't spoil. Try both wet and dry in separate bowls and maybe they'll chose the one they like the best.

Yes, okay. Thank you very much!
