I decided to get ducks. I have 6 Magpie ducklings. We got them several days after they hatchet and we have had them for 6 weeks. They have been an absolute joy for the family.

I might get chickens and maybe goats in a year or so. I'm definitely going to research waterfall duck ponds to build for them.

I'm worried we might have 2 boys and 4 girls. My understanding is that I should have atleast 4 females to one male because the mailes can get aggressive and mean as adults. I will deal with this issue once they are old enough to identify.

Any ways. This is my first time having any farm animals and I love it
