Ducks not accepting half grown ducks

Hello BYC! So I have three runner ducks and about three months ago I got two black Swedish ducks one of the black Swedish ducks died so I ended up getting a golden 300. They’re both different colors than the three runners I have. They’re getting big so I put them in a cage next to the runners so I could try and get them used to each other. I’ve done this with my other ducks. I’m usually within a week, their best friends. These ducks they’ve been they’ve been in there for three weeks and my runners still hate them. They’re both drakes, but I’ve done the same thing with one of my other drakes and it worked well. I’m really confused. Do I have racist ducks?

Help on how to introduce these guys and get my ducks to stop attacking them would be very appreciated. Thank you!

I'm not surprised, the hens don't want more drakes, drakes exhaust the hens. The min is 1 drake to 3-4 hens. and you just brought in 2 more drakes and your hens are saying ''hell no!'' to that lol

Runners are pretty funny when it comes to other ducks (and chickens in my experience). They seem much bossier than they should be.
But, the ratio is definitely off if the 2 newbies are drakes. You will want to keep those other 2 separated from the runner flock.

Haha! My brakes are kept separate from my hens so he can’t bother the girls too much.

I do keep my Drakes separate from my hens. I plan on keeping two of my drakes, which is hard because I already love three. I currently have five maybe six. But all the other drakes hormones have kicked in yet so they’re still acting like cute cuddly ducklings.

Yeah, I keep telling myself I’m gonna wait till they grow up to see which ones are the prettiest and best breeding candidates but then I end up getting more attached and I love them so much.

Update: my hens have accepted the half grown ducks and seem to be buddies now, but they’ve slowed down on laying eggs
