Ducks not laying

Ducks have a tendency to lay eggs anywhere and everywhere :th Mine *mostly* end up in their designated nesting spot, but if I don't collect as many eggs as I expect I go looking for the missing eggs and will find them in random places. I think I've only ever had one egg in the kiddie pool, fortunately, but I have found many in places other than a "nest."
I expect anywhere on the ground, but never in the water. I'll end up taking that down tomorrow after buying more hay. Used up my last bit for a Turkey nest that, she still isn't using yet. I'm just hoping they will come back up during the night

So you lock them up at night? Mine get locked in their pen every night at dusk. I don't know about call ducks but mine do almost all of their laying in their pen probably very early in the morning so I don't have to go hunting them every day.
They do get locked up at night. About an hour ago they came back up to the main yard

I am so glad. It just breaks my heart if ducks aren't kept safe at night. So they don't lay in their pen/lock up area? I was thinking that maybe you could leave them in a bit longer if they don't.

They aren't laying at all. I think it's still too soon after getting them

I try to look at each one because I want to keep learning and don't want to miss anytihng but .....:idunno

Not really understanding what you mean but what I meant was to just keep them in their pen a bit longer and hopefully they will lay in there.
