I expect anywhere on the ground, but never in the water. I'll end up taking that down tomorrow after buying more hay. Used up my last bit for a Turkey nest that, she still isn't using yet. I'm just hoping they will come back up during the nightDucks have a tendency to lay eggs anywhere and everywhereMine *mostly* end up in their designated nesting spot, but if I don't collect as many eggs as I expect I go looking for the missing eggs and will find them in random places. I think I've only ever had one egg in the kiddie pool, fortunately, but I have found many in places other than a "nest."
