Ducks not laying??

In the seven years I have owned ducks, I have never once gotten an egg. I have also never tried to give my ducks places to lay as my family and I enjoy chicken eggs much more. My chickens on the other hand, lay like crazy and we love their eggs. I am just wondering if this has happened to anyone else? I have a new flock of ducks coming in soon and I would love to get some eggs for them. I will be raising them from day olds. Any advice on how to get them to lay and when do you ducks usually lay their first egg? Thanks guys! I look forward to hearing from all you flock owners!!

Huh that is strange! They might be hiding their eggs? Ducks can hide their eggs SUPER hard

My ducks are pretty good at laying in their coop at night.. but I have one hen the lays them in the grass and doesn’t even do anything with them.. it’s like she saying my eggs are too good for you humans

My 4 yr old Runners an Buffs were doing a great job laying their eggs inside this year, now I usually find at least one sometimes two just laying where they may have run by on their way to the pool or to forage. Or going up the hill on their way to have fun. Way too busy to go back to the coop to lay in the nice thick shavings.

They must be hiding them those stinkers!!! Thank you for letting me know this though, I will watch out for hidden eggs
