I am sure it's all playing into this. It's affecting wild animals, plants, and our yard guests.

Absolutely and yet the powers that be do not want to address this! They blame all sorts of things (real - like chemicals, global warming, etc.) but NEVER bring this up! Even people who know a lot about bee colony collapse can't seem to wrap their heads around this. I wonder if we'll (humans) survive. What about sensitivity? Does it really take loving an exotic pet to see this? Is the human frame of reference SO crowded that there is no room for truth anymore? This period truly is the darkest night of the soul.
