I think that would be a better option. We have occasional ducks and geese drop in. If I put food out how do I get them to find it? Just keep putting it out everyday?

Yep, that's what I'd do. If you put it near where they come they should find it. I would also bring it in at night. At the feed stores you'll be able to get better prices on 40lb bags or so once they start coming on a regular basis. If you see them on the lake you can get some Mazuri and toss it out to them. It's waterfowl food that's meant for the water. Good luck!

Thank you. I saw mention of Mazuri on another site. Will look into that. I am also considering a floating food platform As there will be a lot of competition for the food if I leave it on the ground even if I only leave it during the day. The fowl that come in here come late and leave early so it is hard for me to know where they hang out. I hear them more than I see them.
