Our ducks have discovered the gravel road in front of our house. (The slugs congregate along the edge of the road). If I do not watch them when they are free ranging, the go up to the road and wander down it eating as they go. While I was cleaning their houses this evening, they wandered up to the road, and I, as usual, went running after them, got to the road, and called, "duck, duck, ducks." My beloved drakes, the only ducks that listen, turned around and came running toward me. Then the whole flock was running. I grabbed the camera phone. It was pretty cute! Poor quality picture, but the only thing I had available. Usually they run the other way!
