Ducks or No Ducks in the Swimming Pool

Ducks deserve their own pool not contaminated by people peeing in it.

I don't live on a golf course, I have a "golf course house" - the only style the builders down here would build without charging twice the money because you wanted a different style. I do live where there are lots of big alligators.

I do plan to move the ducks out and into separate pens, as I think I have 3 pairs of 3 different colors and want to keep them pure. I just got the ducks before I could get the pen up, guy was downsizing before he goes up north for the summer and I really couldn't beat the price or the quaility of these little ducks.

I was just wondering what y'all thought. No chemicals have been added in the 2 weeks the ducks have been there. I do want to put in a pond with a filter as that does a lot of good as well as stones/pavers around the edge to help keep the dirt out of the pond. Yes, my big ducks have a kiddie pool and it gets filthy in a hurry, as do my little big ducklings. (theirs is a big pot which gets emptied daily and there's lots of debri in there.

Once they leave the screened in porch, they won't be able to come back in on their own.

I don't mind cleaning it myself. It was a convenience, but they really don't do that much, particularly since it wasn't used until 2 weeks ago.

Get another pool company..... And technically...if they are soooo concerned about disease..they should steralize their equipment between ANY and ALL jobs anyways!...all kinds of nasty things spread by humans also... idiots!
