I may have a problem brewing. I have two guinea mama's with keets in the guinea coop. I keep them in there by themselves during the day with no other guinea allowed inside until lockup. So now the other female guineas have started laying their eggs in the duck coop. No big deal I thought better in there then out in the woods. Well now two of my ducks went broody on the guinea eggs! They are Pekins and I always thought they did not go broody and are terrible mothers. But they have been sitting on them for two weeks and doing a fine job. What happens if they hatch some out? I would hope they would try to raise them but who knows. What happens when they take them for their first swim? Has anyone had ducks hatch out guinea eggs?
