Ducks with chickens/from Caroline's Coop

We just put two ducks in with our chickens. All are adults. Is there anything we should be aware of?
The ducks are standing outside in the rain.

If you have a male duck you may have a problem as they will mate a lot, including with your hens and possibly injure them due to differing "parts." If you have females, no problem.

The ducks need a waterer they can dunk their heads in. They will splash around in water and create water and mud, wetness isn't great for chickens.

The chickens perch and ducks do not, so if they are sleeping in the same coop you may want to think about your design as the chickens may poop on the ducks throughout the night.

Just my first thoughts. I'm new to ducks, some of the more veteran owners who have also kept chickens probably have more and better insight.

I have chickens and ducks as well. The only problem you may run into is a drake trying to mate with your hens if you do not have enough female ducks for him. This is especially a problem during mating season. I've had to separate mine for this very reason. Other than that, all of mine get along beautifully. Even my drake and rooster get along just fine.
