Ducks Won't Lay

I have two ducks, a rouen and another that I have no idea of the breed. I am certain they are both hens. They are both about a year old and I haven't gotten a single egg. Any suggestions?

well what makes my girls lay is when they begin to go broody once i notice this then i shut the male out so they wont mate and then the females continue to lay eggs that are infertile and up for the takeing while i let her keep the fertile ones.
