Hi I'm new to this. I've got two Muscovy ducks (Sold to us as being Pekin) - one male one female, five and a half months old. They have become very aggressive lately. Advise anyone?

Best of luck!

Wish I had a larger place for ducks..I hear they are pretty up there on the scale for smarts.

I hatched some Harlequin Welsh once, darling babies. They had to be placed, but oh my, those baby ducks!!

Good morning, welcome to BYC!

In addition to the link GitaBooks provided, you might want to post your question on the duck forum to get an opinion from the duck experts:

I hope you can find ways of taming your ducks down so they are more enjoyable to you.

Good luck to you, nice to have you here!

Thanks guys. Reading all that I think has given me a good idea of what to do- get rid of them. Sad, but I don't want them biting me or the kids! Maybe we will give them away as I couldn't possibly eat them! And maybe we'll get some new ones Pekin this time which is what we wanted all along. Time will tell.
