We have pet ducks and some kind of animal broke in the pen and ate their heads. Anyone have an idea what kind of animal would do such a thing??

How do you know that the pen was broken into?

The plural pronoun "Their" makes me think that there were several ducks killed in this one attack.

I will guess something along the lines of a mink, or some other member of the weasel family. But the head is the last thing on most domestic poultry that predators have their mouths on so the head is the logical place for feeding to begin.
