I have 6 ducks 3 drakes 3 ducks and 1 drake is mean to the other ducks and drakes do I need to get rid of him

You have too many drakes.Ratio for ducks is 1 Drake Per 2-5 Hens.More hens the better.I would get rid of your mean one.Drakes will fight each other for mating rights over the hens.

Yes, But it might make your drake lonely.

That would be the wise choice.

Realistically it would be best to rehome him and even one other drake. 1 drake and 3 ducks is a good flock with no need for competitive breeding.
